Halo named a Top Secure Messaging Vendor in KLAS Report

In a first-of-its-kind report on the secure messaging landscape for healthcare, Halo (previously Doc Halo) emerged as a leading vendor, with top marks in Vendor Performance.

The report was produced by KLAS, a research organization dedicated to improving the delivery of healthcare technology by independently measuring and reporting on vendor performance. The report evaluates the fairly new secure messaging marketplace, examining how providers are selecting and using secure messaging platforms and identifying the major technology players.

Halo rated highest for both helpfulness in achieving adoption and for the technology measuring up to expectations, according to the report. Providers interviewed for the report also appreciated Halo’s user-friendly interface, feature-rich platform, and its exclusive focus on healthcare communication.

“This report is very exciting because it validates what we have been seeing among Halo users, that we significantly increase physician and nurse workflow efficiency,” says Jose Barreau, MD, CEO of Halo. “We think this translates to better patient care and better quality of life for clinicians.”

According to the study, 85 percent of secure messaging users reported that implementation of the new technology improved workflow efficiency.
