Christina Van Der Weide, RN

Staff Nurse, Emergency Department

Mercy Health St. Mary's

I work in a downtown ER Department that sees a lot of homelessness, alcoholism, substance abuse, and mental health disorders on top of the typical medical or traumatic emergencies. I typically care for 4 patients at one time, working closely with a fantastic team to test and treat patients in an effective and compassionate way in a very dynamic environment. I love the challenge and variety that make this such an interesting job!

Brittani I. Rahn de Vu, BSN, RN

Supervisor of Emergency and Trauma Services

Baylor Scott and White Health

The obvious role I have at my facility is to adhere to policy and procedures and guide our team members down the path of success to ensure safe and sensational patient care. However, the best way to describe my true identity and role is to provide team support and create a positive and encouraging environment for our team members…I consider myself to be their cheerleader and I love to highlight their caring and kind hearts….go team, GO!

Lorel K. Studer MSN, RN, CNL, CCRN-K, SCRN
